The issues that I had were related to collateral damage from radiation because of the necrosis and the lack of the blood flow. The healing was compromised, which involved the extraction of a number of teeth on the lower level. They integrate their findings with the rest of my medical team — my doctors, my dentists, oncologists, what have you — so knowing that they’re concerned about my total well-being. It was neat because they were very warm, open, and welcoming, and they soon became part of my medical team, and I always felt that they had my back. It just gives you the peace of mind knowing that they truly have your best interests at heart.
