Community
We love providing our patients with high-quality oral health care, but we want to expand our services to those who might not be one of our patients — yet! Siouxland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is proud to offer programs that engage our community and extend a helping hand to those in need of oral health care.
The Academic Advantage program provides tools and resources for students in 6th–12th grade who want to pursue a career in the medical and/or dental field. Academic Advantage is hosted in a local venue and features speakers from the medical and dental professions, as well as colleges and universities. Anyone can learn more about various aspects of oral health through the Project Save A Mouth (PSAM) program. Find out how everyday habits can negatively affect your oral health and potentially lead to other general health problems, and discover ways to prevent and treat oral health issues. The Second Chance program gives one member of the community the opportunity to restore their oral health, aesthetics, and functionality through a specialized treatment called Full-Arch Restoration — at no charge to the recipient!
