About Dr. Denis Miller
Denis Miller, DDS, MBA, has been an oral and maxillofacial surgeon since 1998, and he has worked at Siouxland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery since 1999. He is an active member of the larger dental and medical communities: he volunteers with Community Health Care patients in Sioux Falls, and he’s a clinical professor with the University of South Dakota Dental Hygiene Program in Vermillion, SD. He is also the board chairman for the Lake Area Vo-tech Dental Assistants program in Watertown.
After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario, London, Dr. Miller attended dental school at the University of Detroit in 1992. He also completed an internship at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Once he finished dental school, Dr. Miller completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at Temple University Medical Center in Philidelphia, PA. This program gave him hands-on training for performing all kinds of dental and facial surgeries in a hospital setting. His years of training and experience make him highly qualified to perform the full scope of oral and facial procedures.
Hobbies and Interests
Dr. Miller is originally from Ontario, Canada, but now he lives in South Dakota and enjoys hobbies such as attending the symphony, sailing Hobie catamarans at Lewis and Clark Park, riding his motorcycle, and downhill skiing. In his free time, he also enjoys traveling and other outdoor activities.
