The placement of dental implants is a specialty procedure. Our surgeons are all board certified, meaning we have been vetted by our peers during a rigorous national written exam and interview. We are currently the only office in the area where all the surgeons are board certified. Siouxland Oral Surgery has also passed national accreditation from Triple AHC and is still the only office to do so in the Sioux Falls region.
A single tooth restoration has three parts, which include the implant, the abutment, and the crown. A dental implant is a small titanium post that is placed in the jaw and acts as a replacement for your missing tooth root. The crown is designed to look like a natural tooth and connects to the implant through the abutment. Once all three parts have been installed, you will regain functionality in your teeth and confidence in your smile.
We want every patient to speak, smile, and eat with confidence, and believe that restoring teeth with dental implants is your best restoration option. When dental implants are properly cared for, their natural appearance and function can last a lifetime.
Implants are a versatile treatment option and can be used to replace a single tooth, multiple teeth, or be used as part of a full arch restoration system, or used to stabilize dentures. During your initial consult, we will provide you with your options for restoration to ensure you receive a long-lasting smile.
Our offices in Sioux Falls, Mitchell, Yankton, and Brookings conveniently serve the Siouxland region, and we are proud to offer a wide variety of procedures from dental implant placement and wisdom tooth removal to the treatment of facial trauma injuries and corrective jaw surgery.
