Siouxland Oral Surgery hosts monthly luncheon speakers – September through May – to help industry peers expand their knowledge of oral surgery and related care.

At Siouxland Oral Surgery, we strive to help our dental offices become more efficient, profitable and help to provide better dentistry to our community.

As we enter the fall season, we invite you to join us for an upcoming speaker session focusing on creating a more memorable dental experience through strategies for improving patient care.

Dental Designs is the midwest leader in the industry as a family owned business for over 40 years now. Luke Sweeney is one of the co-owners of the family business. Dental Designs takes pride in great communication, up to date technology and providing education to
different dental offices in the dental industry. Luke along with long time employee Terry Johnson will discuss the laboratory side of all-on-”x” with tips and pearls, different work around options, some problems that may arise as well as some solutions to these problems.
Both speakers will also be available after the meeting to discuss any specific cases that are brought to the lecture.

Alan Hollander has developed unique management systems and tools for dentists for 25 years that generate long-term growth and profitability. He is a graduate of Hofstra University and New York University and went on to develop the Practice OptimizerTM an
online suite of services with over 2000 pages of practice management content and material. These were licensed to Enserve of Houston, TX and became a valuable part of their online array of resources for over 20,000 doctors in the US.

Alan is currently involved in an extensive project with Nobel Biocare to train specialists and their referring doctors on treatment plan presentation and improving case acceptance. He has also taught and lectured on every facet of practice management and has done presentations in all of the 50 states and every major city in Canada.

Costs

  • The annual fee of $475 per doctor covers experienced speakers’ costs. Staff can attend classes for $20 without a dues-paying doctor.
  • Doctors who contribute the annual dues of $475 are entitled, along with their staff, to attend events without incurring any extra costs.
  • Individuals who haven’t had their dues covered by a doctor can still participate with the required fee of $20 for attendance and an additional $20 if they choose to partake in the meal.
