The temporomandibular joint, more commonly known as the TMJ, is the joint that allows your jaws to move up and down and side to side. When there is a problem in this joint, it can cause jaw pain or a noticeable clicking/popping sensation when you open your mouth. TMJ disorders are fairly common and can be treated both surgically and nonsurgically. Your treatment plan will depend on your specific condition and needs as a patient.
For patients who need surgical treatment, we offer corrective jaw surgery. We also offer nonsurgical treatments for patients to help alleviate any pain caused by a TMJ disorder. If you're interested in hearing more about how we can treat TMJ disorders, you can watch the videos below and hear from our patients about how we have helped them manage their TMJ disorders.
