Tooth Extraction Reviews
Teeth are more fragile than a lot of people think, and they can be easily damaged if they aren't cared for properly. Facial trauma, sports injuries, falls, disease, infection, or even biting into something too hard or crunchy are all common causes of tooth damage. When a tooth becomes damaged, it can sometimes be repaired by a general dentist; however, when a tooth is damaged beyond repair, you will most often be referred to an oral surgeon for an extraction.
It's important for infected teeth to be extracted to prevent the infection from spreading; removing a damaged tooth prevents the underlying jaw bone from deteriorating and gives you a chance to restore your tooth with a replacement (such as a dental implant) so that you can resume regular oral function. Teeth extractions are simple procedures, and our patients often report being able to return to their regular routines just hours after the procedure.
