Jason Leet, DMD

About Dr. Leet

After growing up in Yankton, South Dakota, Dr. Jason Leet left home to pursue his dream of becoming a dentist and completed dental school in 2013 at the University of Minnesota. Following dental school, Dr. Leet served active duty in the United States Air Force (USAF) for four years as a general dentist in Nebraska and Texas. While completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) in Nebraska, he had the opportunity to work with an oral surgeon for a period of time, and he immediately realized this was the right career path for him. Following the completion of his service to the USAF, Dr. Leet completed a rigorous 4-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Minnesota. He trained in full scope oral surgery, including facial trauma management, orthognathic surgery, facial reconstruction, temporomandibular joint surgery, and dentoalveolar surgery.

Dr. Leet is very excited to join the team at Siouxland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He and his wife Rachel are looking forward to a more balanced pace of life in South Dakota. Dr. Leet and his wife have three children: two boys and a girl. Dr. Leet wanted to join a family-oriented practice that served its community, and where he was able to practice the full scope of oral surgery. Upon meeting Dr. George, Dr. Miller, and the team at Siouxland, it quickly became clear this practice was the right fit and a place he and Rachel wanted to raise their family.

As a patient, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and peaceful environment. Dr. Leet understands the apprehension that accompanies visiting a new doctor’s office and strives to make your experience comfortable and positive.
